Green Shots, Queens Wood London

I took part in Re:kindle Public Arts, Green Shots exhibition, Queens Wood London at the weekend. Queens wood is an ancient woodland deep in suburbia, in which site specific,Instillation, sculpture and performance art has been shown for the last 16 years.

Around 20 Artists took part in the even over the weekend and it was a great event. heres a few images of my work from the show, Walking drawing and some images of the other Artist work.

Walking Drawing
what i had not expected to happen with this drawing was the line that formed in the ground after i had walked up and down, parallel to the mark made by the graphite.

Heres a look at the other Artists involved.

Arm Span Drawing Daily Film

Arm Span Drawing Daily

A video made over 5 days, each day a arm span drawing was made and then the paper was pulled down to make room for the next.
by standing in the pervious drawing a direct link of artist height was made between that and the next drawing.

I did a performance at the private view, and also in the week. 'Live Drawing, walking drawing, a line 100 times' this was something new as i had only ever filmed the drawing. i had some good responses and think there will be more live drawing to come

And here are some photographs of the whole show, it was a great show and a massive successes all our hard work paid off.
